CSL Elite Pedals LC Review

I like the fact that this is an all metal pedals set. There is a big difference between the feel of a metal set and a set that uses plastics in it’s construction. The black
finish is also quite well done. And in line with Fanatec’s usually good finishes on most of it’s products. And using metal gearing on the connection between the
potentiometer and pedal levers, should give this set a long life cycle in that location. I also like the fact that they include three different shore rated bumpers in this kit. Giving the user a good range of adjustability in brake pedal feel. The Load cell used on the brake pedal seems to do a good job at allowing the driver to accurately control car braking attitudes with good repeatably. Which is what a pressure sensor based brake pedal should do. And when using the load cell on a PC, you want to make sure you are not running the pedal set through the wheel base. As it performs noticeably better using the usb connection on the pedals. Now I could feel some flex in the pedal arms under hard use, but at price point that these pedals are coming in at, I was not expecting class leading stiffness here. And it didn’t effect my ability to push hard when in the car. I also like that you can actually mount these pedals individually if you want to. But of course you would have to make arrangements for mounting the controller box and heel plate if you went that route. Speaking of the heel plate, It is a solid well thought out piece of kit. But I would have liked to have seen an access hole in the plate just above the front mounting bracket area for easy access when mounting and un-mounting. Overall, I
had a good experience with this pedals set. And I can’t find any good reasons to not recommend it. Especially at the price of 200.00 and the marketĀ  segment it is aimed at.
